Gran Turismo 7 continues to be a very popular driving game, and with no sign of a sequel (yet) or new console generation (yet), it would appear its live-service will continue for the foreseeable.

On Friday, 3rd July 2026, Sony emailed PlayStation sim racers with a survey specifically about Polyphony Digital’s current title. Naturally, while solely aimed at the GT7 experience, the answers could help form what’s next for the series, too.

It asks about each major feature, such as the multiplayer experience, Music Rally and Scapes, with a seemingly overall trend of player progression.

For instance, the number of cars collected and café menu books completed are included as key questions.

Polyphony Digital’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 game introduced a unique single-player structure, centred around a café menu book system. It sees tracks slowly unlock as you play through themed race trios, tied to the world circuit events. Although it eschews Gran Turismo series staples such as grouped championship events.

I have well over 4,000 hours logged on this game, and nobody sent me a survey. 🤷
