As revealed during Sony’s State of Play presentation today (3rd September, 2026), the legendary Autumn Ring is set to return to the series in Gran Turismo 7, with Polyphony Digital set to release a huge Spec IV update later this year. Intriguingly, it will be released in two parts: the first in October and the second in December. Two tracks were unveiled for the update, with the real-world Sugo circuit also set to make an appearance, with 12 new cars and new game modes also on the way. Appearing in the very first GT back in 1997 (1998 outside of Japan), Autumn Ring hasn’t been seen in a mainline GT game since GT 6, but that’s set to change very soon.
