An emotional victory was secured by Daniel Solis for Subaru at the third round of the 2026 Gran Turismo World Series in Singapore.

The American driver secured pole position in the top-six session and led the Autodrome Lago Maggiore (reverse) race from the first lap until the chequered flag.

However, it wasn’t straightforward for the Gran Turismo 7 competitor.

Ferrari’s Nicolás Arriagada ran close behind the BRZ in the early stages, and then at the midpoint, opted for an alternative tyre strategy to the leader.

On the final tour, the gap had closed to under one second, before the Subaru driver ran wide on the penultimate turn.
