Home Secretary gives evidence on the work of the Home Office

On Tuesday 7 July 2026 the House of Lords is hearing evidence from the Rt Hon Shabana Mahmood MP, Home Secretary.
Purpose of the session
This is a one-off session examining the work of the Home Office. The Committee are expected to explore the Immigration and Asylum Bill announced last week, the Common Travel Area, and police use of facial recognition technology.
