Hyundai Motor America has expanded its over-the-air (OTA) digital features marketplace to four additional US models, bringing the total to six vehicles eligible to download and activate in-vehicle features through the Bluelink Store. The Tucson, Santa Fe, Santa Cruz, and Ioniq 5 join the previously eligible Palisade and Ioniq 9 in the Digital Features and Services platform. Customers can browse, purchase, download, and activate software-enabled features directly through the Bluelink app or website. Features are delivered via OTA updates and installed in-vehicle by the customer, without requiring a dealership visit. Purchased features remain active for the life of the vehicle and transfer to subsequent owners on resale. The expansion includes a new FIFA World Cup 2026 Display Theme, offered complimentary to US customers through 19 October 2026 and featuring the tournament’s logo alongside Boston Dynamics’ Atlas and Spot robots. Three existing themes are also available: Nature, Hyundai Pony (a tribute to Hyundai’s first mass-produced car from 1974), and Peanuts (featuring Snoopy and classic characters). Display Themes require Hyundai’s embedded Connected Car Navigation Cockpit infotainment system and an active Bluelink subscription. Hyundai said additional features and services will be added to the platform over time, indicating ongoing development of the in-car software marketplace as part of Hyundai’s broader software-defined vehicle strategy.
