Hyundai Motor (005380.KS) said Tuesday it has launched the "Hyundai N Racing Simulator," a product that recreates the driving experience of its high-performance N brand in a virtual environment. Hyundai Motor developed the simulator through collaboration with global partners including LG Electronics, Sony, Logitech, and Next Level Racing. Based on the PlayStation game "Gran Turismo 7," the simulator implements the N brand's distinctive high-performance driving feel through a sophisticated physics engine grounded in real vehicle data, the company said. The Hyundai N Racing Simulator comes in two versions depending on specifications: Pro and Racer. The Pro is a high-performance model equipped with the LG OLED Pro, which features an LG Electronics premium G-series panel, along with a PlayStation 5 Pro. The Racer is a standard model that includes an LG OLED 65-inch TV and a PlayStation 5. The cockpit applies an exclusive Hyundai N design to Next Level Racing's GT Elite Lite product. The seat is an Avante N Light Sport bucket seat, replicating a driving environment similar to sitting in an actual N vehicle. The steering wheel and pedals use Logitech G's "RS50 System Racing Wheel," which features TrueForce feedback technology and direct drive with up to 8 Nm of torque, along with "RS Pedals" that enable precise braking, delivering the same handling sensation as an actual racing car. The Hyundai N Racing Simulator was used as the official sim racing equipment for the national team qualifiers of "Gran Turismo 7," which has been selected as an official esports event for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. At the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games "Gran Turismo 7" national team qualifiers held during the first round of the Hyundai N Festival on the 8th, Kim Young-chan took first place and secured a spot on the national team for the Asian Games in September.
