IQSIGHT Launches AUTODOME 7100s PTZ Camera Series for Outdoor Security Applications IQSIGHT, formerly Bosch Video Systems, has introduced the AUTODOME 7100s and AUTODOME 7100s IR, a new series of outdoor pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras designed to deliver clear imaging in a range of lighting conditions while providing built-in video analytics for day and night security operations. According to the company, the new cameras are intended to address surveillance needs across smart cities, transportation networks, critical infrastructure and government facilities. Built on IQSIGHT's intelligence-first platform, both models feature AI-enabled video analytics designed to improve detection accuracy while reducing false positives. The company also said the cameras are prepared for context-aware generative AI capabilities planned for release later this year. The AUTODOME 7100s series features 4MP video resolution with a 30x optical zoom lens that supports object identification at distances up to 919 feet (280 meters). Motion-optimized HDR X technology is designed to reduce motion blur and trailing artifacts on fast-moving vehicles and people, including while the camera is panning or tracking. For low-light environments, the AUTODOME 7100s IR incorporates dynamic infrared illumination that adjusts beam angle and intensity to match the optical zoom level. IQSIGHT said the feature provides balanced, glare-free exposure in complete darkness at distances up to 1,804 feet (550 meters). The cameras also include Intelligent Video Analytics Pro (IVA Pro) as a standard feature, supporting intrusion detection, alerts and operational insights around buildings and perimeter areas. Additional licenses are available for object classification and counting to support a variety of security and safety applications. IQSIGHT said the cameras are engineered for long-term reliability with brushless positioning motors, Kevlar-reinforced drive belts and positional encoders that maintain accurate positioning after power interruptions or exposure to excessive force. The series also incorporates adaptive power management that automatically detects available Power over Ethernet
