- Expected to be offered with both the 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery packs - Likely to be launched in India this month The Kia Syros EV has been spied undisguised ahead of its debut later this month. As expected, it looks exactly like the ICE Syros right down to the 17-inch wheels. The charging flap is on the front left of the vehicle. This car appears to even be painted in the same Ivory silver matte paint scheme that is offered with the ICE Syros. Even at the rear, you can see the tail lamps positioned exactly where they are on the ICE model. While the interiors are not properly visible, we can see the dual-tone paint scheme, and given the exterior, we expect the same to be carried over on the inside too. The fully-loaded ICE Syros offers climate control, dual digital screens, connected car technology, LED light package, ventilated and sliding second row. In addition to all of this we also expect the EV to bring back a 360 camera package, level 2 ADAS and probably V2L as a hero feature. Initially, ir expected Kia to only offer the 42kW battery pack, but now we also expect them to offer the 51.4kW battery pack. The latter might seem like an expensive and rather big proposition for a car of this size, but Kia needs every advantage it can take with Syros, and if this one will work in its favour in terms of offering a high range then Kia should add it on without hesitating. We expect the 51.4kW pack to only be offered on the fully loaded top-spec models. Pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs. 14 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh, and it will take on cars like the Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra
