The route is 219 miles of Interstate 45, between Kodiak’s Dallas-area hub and Houston, the highway leg of an IKEA delivery run.
Kodiak has hauled IKEA freight for four years, over 750,000 autonomous miles, with a safety observer on board.
Since August, it has run this lane daily, and Kodiak says deliveries now consistently finish without anyone stepping in.
