RideFlux will launch parcel delivery services in June using an autonomous truck operating at speeds of up to 90 kph on a 112-kilometre route along the Jungbu Expressway.
The service will begin after a commercial freight agreement with Lotte Global Logistics, supporting the rollout of autonomous delivery operations.
A 25-ton Maxen truck manufactured by Tata Daewoo Mobility Co. will be used, operating three times a week during off-peak hours.
The project will begin with a safety driver on board, followed by a transition to driverless operations in later stages under a phased regulatory framework.
Officials said the approval marks a key milestone in the commercialization of autonomous driving technology in the logistics sector.
