To improve safety and operational consistency at Drummond Island, Carmeuse is integrating Cat MineStar Command for hauling across its fleet of 100-ton 777 trucks, alongside complementary MineStar capabilities for loaders and support equipment at the mine site. MineStar enables fully autonomous haul cycles using onboard sensors, GPS guidance, and centralized fleet management systems that coordinate truck movements across the site. The system is designed to reduce human exposure to operational hazards while delivering more predictable production.
