Authentic, hands-on controllers for bike racing games, though, have been suspiciously hard to find. Sure, there have been a number of coin-op arcade bike games that have featured them, but they hardly majored in authenticity and often felt like a bit of a slap-dash solution to keep us bikers quiet. That changes in 2026, as one of the world leaders in gaming controllers and sim equipment is finally turning its hand to the world of two wheels. Moza Racing has been making sim controllers for car racing, farming and flying sim games and more since 2012, although to date, it has not released a handlebar setup to allow gamers to ride like Rossi. That changes, as Moza’s officially licensed MotoGP motorcycle controller has been unveiled at Gamescom 2026. And while calling it a set of handlebars might make it sound fairly simple, there is considerably more going on here than just sticking a throttle and a couple of brake levers onto a gaming peripheral. The controller is designed to connect to one of Moza’s direct-drive wheelbases, using the force-feedback motor in the base to send feedback through the handlebars.
