Nevada approves Tesla, Waymo, Aviari for driverless rides State agency clears three companies to run autonomous vehicles in Clark County LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Nevada Transportation Authority has approved applications from Tesla, Waymo and Aviari to operate autonomous vehicle services in the state. The approval allows the companies to offer paid rides in fully self-driving vehicles in Clark County. Each company must first get authorization from the county Department of Aviation to pick up or drop off passengers there. Waymo and Aviari can each operate up to 1,000 vehicles.
