The latest teaser reveals its front-end design. It will take on Creta, Seltos and Grand Vitara. Nissan has released the clearest teaser yet of its upcoming Tekton SUV, revealing its front-end design ahead of the global debut on July 9 in Mumbai. Earlier teasers showed the SUV's silhouette and introduced it as the "Baby Patrol." Now, the latest image gives a much better look at the styling that will define Nissan's new midsize SUV. The Tekton is expected to become one of Nissan's most important launches in India as it enters the highly competitive midsize SUV segment. The latest teaser shows the Tekton in black with a bold and upright front fascia inspired by the larger Nissan Patrol. It features a wide grille with multiple horizontal slats, giving the SUV a strong road presence. A red accent strip runs across the grille and passes through the illuminated Nissan logo, creating a unique front-end design. Another highlight is the large TEKTON lettering placed across the front edge of the bonnet. The bonnet also gets a raised centre section, while vertical LED daytime running lights are positioned at the outer edges of the bumper. Together with the rectangular LED headlamps, these elements give the SUV a rugged and premium look.
