RSF mod adds several new stages, including the historic Bignone Sanremo test Four new single-player Rally Season themes added, including ‘94 WRC season A new update has landed for Richard Burns Rally mod RallySimFans (RSF), with nine new stages added to the evergreen rally title. The most eye-catching is undoubtedly Bignone Shakedown, a small taster of what we can expect when the full stage releases at a later date. Bignone is a classic Rallye Sanremo test used at national and international rally events from 1974 to the present day, including the halcyon Group B period from 1983 to 1986. Set on the slopes of Mount Bignone in Italy, the stage has taken many forms over the decades, but all retain similar tight and twisty layouts, with narrow asphalt lanes punctuated by switchback turns. Created by Italian modder Ballaround, Bignone will eventually expand from the Shakedown version’s 3 km length into a full-blown 11 km edition, once a €2500 donation goal is met, with a reverse-direction layout also primed for general release. WRC fans may also be pleased to know that Comb, a former RAC Rally and current Malcolm Wilson Rally stage, also appears in the latest RSF update. Developed by Edd Hartley (who also produced Wythop), Comb was primarily used on the RAC in the latter days of Group B right up until 1992.
