While the pickup truck will receive several exterior and mechanical upgrades, one of the biggest highlights is its completely redesigned interior. The new cabin takes inspiration from Toyota's latest Land Cruiser, giving the Hilux a more modern and premium feel. The updated model will also bring a mild-hybrid diesel powertrain, improved ride quality and new technology features. The biggest change inside the new Hilux is the dashboard. Toyota has redesigned the cabin with a cleaner and more upmarket layout similar to the latest Land Cruiser. The dashboard gets larger digital displays, replacing the older instrument cluster and infotainment setup. The pickup is also expected to offer wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car features, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and a wider range of driver assistance features. These changes are expected to make the Hilux feel much closer to Toyota's premium SUV lineup. It features redesigned LED headlamps, a bold front fascia with prominent Toyota branding, a revised bumper and new styling elements across the front end.
