KUALA LUMPUR: Castrol Malaysia and Cove Circuit have brought the “Castrol Unleashed Youth Sim Racing Championship” back for a second season.
Opened to eligible youths in Malaysia aged 18 to 24 years, Castrol Unleashed combines Cove Circuit’s grassroots sim racing platform with Castrol’s longstanding association with motorsport to create a more accessible entry point into racing.
"Sim racing gives young people an increasingly accessible way into racing, and with the Castrol Unleashed platform, we can help turn that interest into real skills, confidence and competition readiness.
Racers had put their skills to the test through Time Attack qualifying sessions at Cove Circuit Cyberjaya on Oct 10 and 11 and Cove Circuit Bandar Sunway on Oct 17 and 18.
The first round of qualifiers at Cove Circuit Cyberjaya was completely sold out.
