The CMMC Level 2 certification validates Nightwing’s compliance with stringent Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements for Federal Contract Information and Controlled Unclassified Information. It requires a self-assessment or independent C3PAO certification every three years, with annual affirmation. The program enforces cybersecurity standards across the defense industrial base to protect FCI and CUI, holding contractors and subcontractors to those standards throughout contract performance.
