The 2026 Onvo L90 received more than 70 hardware and software upgrades to enhance its market competitiveness, Onvo said at its launch event on April 21. It is equipped for the first time with Nio's in-house developed 5-nanometer automotive-grade autonomous driving chip, the Shenji NX9031. To further improve its advanced driver assistance capabilities, the model also added variants equipped with LiDAR and introduced the Nio World Model autonomous driving solution for the first time. The updated Onvo L90 is built on a 900-volt high-voltage architecture, comes standard with an 85-kilowatt-hour battery pack, and offers a range of up to 600 kilometers. The model is compatible with Nio's existing battery swap network, taking only three minutes to complete a battery replacement. In addition, like all EV models, the vehicle supports fast charging.
