NODA AI wins $100M Pentagon contract to scale autonomous mission command across the Joint Force

NODA AI announced on 17 August 2026 that the US Department of War has awarded it a $100 million contract to scale the company's autonomous mission command software across the Joint Force.

The award builds directly on the $10 million contract NODA secured in July 2026 to develop MAESTRO (Multi-Domain Autonomous Enhanced System for Tactical Reasoning and Orchestration), the orchestration software behind the Pentagon's LUCAS (Low-Cost Uncrewed Combat Attack System) one-way attack drone programme. The new, ten-times-larger award moves the New York- and Austin-based firm's hardware-agnostic autonomy platform from a single programme into broad, multi-domain deployment across the US military's services.

NODA's software acts as a vendor-neutral orchestration layer that lets drones, ground robots and sensors from different manufacturers keep executing a commander's intent under contested and jammed conditions, positioning the company as a connective-tissue infrastructure supplier for software-defined defence.
