ORDERING up the largest choice on Nissan’s product menu - the bulky Patrol sports utility - still means paying the biggest price, though stickers relevant to comparison with the preceding type are only slightly changed. The latest edition’s ladder-frame chassis offers 40 percent more torsional rigidity than that of its predecessor, multi-link independent suspension and electric power steering also arrive and the Pro-4X and Ti-L Reserve come with adaptive air suspension.
