Pedestrian killed by a semi-truck in North Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A pedestrian has died in North Las Vegas on Thursday morning.

North Las Vegas Police Department officers were dispatched at around 9:33 a.m. to Lone Mountain and Lamb Boulevard and found a 32-year-old man struck and killed by a semi-truck.

According to police, the semi-truck was turning northbound onto Lamb when the pedestrian was crossing Lamb on the north side of Lone Mountain.

The driver of the truck did not see the man and struck him.

The driver remained on scene, and impairment was not suspected.

This crash is currently under investigation.

Nevada Department of Transportation says all lanes on Lamb and Lone Mountain are still blocked.

Drivers are advised to use other routes.
