PISTA Motorsport developer teases brand-new karting sim

PISTA Motorsport developer is working on a new karting sim Screenshot unveiled for Kart World: The next kart simulator The makers of Argentine racing sim PISTA Motorsport have revealed a new karting sim project: Kart World.

REG previously included two kart models in PISTA: a rental-style kart and a racier five-speed example.

The Buenos Aires-based developer has also worked on a host of Assetto Corsa and Kart Racing Pro karting mods, including both karts and kart tracks.

Likewise, although KartSim for rFactor 2 continues to receive updates, its full software package is prohibitively expensive, leaving room in the sim racing market for a dedicated title at a more affordable price point.

Scant information is available on Kart World at this stage, but if it follows a similar path to PISTA, it may well end up using the Unity game engine.
