PlusAI has published updated commercial readiness metrics for the first half of 2026, showing continued progress toward the commercial deployment of factory-built autonomous trucks, targeted for 2027. The autonomous trucking software company said it expects to reach 100% safety case readiness in 2027. During the period, PlusAI launched a commercial autonomous fleet trial with International and Ryder on the I-35 freight corridor in Texas, and announced its first autonomous trucks in Southern Europe with Spanish logistics operator Sesé and the Government of Aragon. It also released SuperDrive 6.0, adding night driving and construction zone handling. PlusAI also expanded its Nvidia collaboration and achieved four ISO certifications. It expanded commercialisation efforts in Europe and Japan, and received recognition from Fast Company for SuperDrive. Through the first half of 2026, PlusAI’s Safety Case Readiness (SCR) rose to 93.4%, from 90.1% in the second half of 2025, while Autonomous Miles Percentage (AMP) reached 99.8% and Remote Assistance Free Trips (RAFT) climbed to 85.2%, from 79%. The company is targeting 100% SCR and more than 90% RAFT before launch. In a statement, David Liu, chief executive and co-founder of PlusAI, said: ‘Every six months we publish our commercial readiness metrics because they provide a transparent view into our progress.’ He added that recent progress shows PlusAI is on track to deploy factory-built autonomous trucks at commercial scale.
