As part of a Ukrainian research and development program, Quantum Systems will supply autonomous ground systems to Ukraine. The program includes ten autonomous Zetros AI trucks from Daimler Truck, which will be equipped with the Quantum Systems Mosaic Ground Autonomy Kit, as well as ten Mandrill unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). The vehicles are deployed by the Ukrainian National Guard (NGU) under real-world conditions to provide feedback for the system’s ongoing development. The contract is in the millions of euros. Daimler Truck is an official partner of the program and is collaborating with Quantum Systems in a development partnership focused on integrating vehicle hardware and autonomous software into the Zetros platform. The integration of the Mosaic Ground Autonomy Kit enables unmanned and remote-controlled operations with logistics vehicles within a modular, software-defined architecture. Based on the open Mosaic UXS ecosystem, it supports autonomous deliveries, convoy operations, and cross-domain missions by connecting ground vehicles with other unmanned systems into a single, interoperable operational network. “We look forward to testing the Zetros unmanned trucks and the Mandrill unmanned ground vehicles under real-world operating conditions in Ukraine,” said Hendrik Kramer, Vice President of Ground Domain at Quantum Systems. “Quantum Systems has already proven its ability to successfully integrate real-world feedback into its systems. Thanks to this contract, we can now test and validate two of our latest products under real-world conditions in Ukraine just a few months after their market launch, where there is a significant need to modernize military logistics.” Daniel Zittel, Sales Manager at Daimler Truck Defense, said: “Ukraine has a significant need for military logistics solutions and operates a wide range of military systems, including a large fleet of our trucks and related services. Together with Quantum Systems, we are developing new capabilities for military logistics in Ukraine. As the next step,
