RaceRoom set for new hill climb venue, as Glasbachrennen used in FIA sim competition

German real-world hillclimb venue Glasbachrennen looks set to be released for sim racing platform RaceRoom.

The 5.3km route has been recreated in the title for use in the FIA Esports European Hill Climb Cup, which has its final this weekend in Luxembourg.

Currently, RaceRoom has the fictional ‘RaceRoom Hillclimb’, which was used for the qualifying stages of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile’s competition.

However, in the run-up to the championship-deciding round, the FIA and RaceRoom released in-game images of the Glasbachrennen point-to-point route.

Traxion has confirmed with both parties that it has been developed and will be used for the event.
