COLUMBIA, S.C. — Columbia police are asking for the public’s help to identify a vehicle they say is connected to an active shooting investigation.

Investigators say they are working to identify a silver four-door sedan tied to a shooting that happened on May 8, 2026.

Police released an image of the vehicle and are asking anyone who recognizes it or has information related to the case to come forward.

Authorities said tips can be submitted directly to investigators with the Violent Crimes and Gun Crime Unit at 803-545-3596 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
