JAKARTA - Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer SANY delivered 200 electric haulers and 403 electric wheel loaders to customers in various countries during August 2026. The delivery is part of the expansion of the company's developed line of electric-powered heavy equipment products. SANY announced the shipment via a post on LinkedIn. The company said 200 electric haulers and 403 electric wheel loaders have left its facilities in China to be delivered to customers in various regions of the world. "Our range of electric products continues to grow as more and more customers seek ways to reduce emissions and operate more sustainably," SANY wrote in its post. The company also said it was providing more and more engine options with electric and diesel power so that customers could choose the right tool for their needs. In addition to electric haulers and wheel loaders, SANY is also developing a number of other electrification products. The line includes electric reach stackers, electric semi-trucks, and electric excavators. A number of SANY electric heavy equipment uses large-capacity batteries of up to 550 kWh that can be exchanged. The system is used to support vehicle operations in the construction and mining sectors. SANY is also developing autonomous vehicle technology for heavy equipment. One of the products introduced by the company is the SKT145Ei, a heavy-duty electric-powered hauler truck that was featured at the SANY Global Mining Key Customer Summit in Xi'an. In the transportation vehicle segment, SANY is also working with Pony.ai on a plan to develop 100,000 autonomous electric semi-trucks, which are targeted to be built by 2030.
