Singapore-based startup pQCee has closed a $3.9 million seed round led by SGInnovate and Lotus One Investment. The company develops “crypto-agile” solutions—software that allows encryption algorithms to be changed via a cloud patch without hardware replacement. Its products protect against “collect now, decrypt later” attacks, where encrypted data is stored until powerful quantum computers become available. The funds will be used to expand the team and enter the US, European, and Middle Eastern markets; the project has raised a total of $6.7 million.
