SK Telecom has joined Anthropic’s “Project Glasswing,” an international cybersecurity collaboration framework built around Anthropic’s security-focused AI model “Claude Mythos.”
Until recently, Anthropic had limited participation in the initiative to the US government and select US companies.
SK Telecom officially announced Thursday that it joined Project Glasswing as of June 3 and secured early access rights to Claude Mythos.
Through the project, SK Telecom said it plans to strengthen the security of its core infrastructure and services by proactively defending against cyber risks.
“As a company operating telecommunications and AI infrastructure used by tens of millions of people in their daily lives, we will contribute to strengthening South Korea’s digital security through this partnership,” the company said.
Separately, Samsung Electronics and SK hynix have also reportedly received access rights to Claude Mythos.
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT has likewise joined the Glasswing initiative through the Korea Internet & Security Agency.
