StradVision, a vision AI company developing the "eyes" of autonomous driving systems, is preparing for a Kosdaq listing. StradVision held an initial public offering press conference at the CCMM Building in Yeouido, Seoul on June 12 and outlined its post-listing growth strategy. Founded in 2014, StradVision specializes in AI-based automotive vision perception software and develops and supplies "SVNet," an object recognition solution for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving applications. StradVision entered the global automotive market in 2019 through mass-production projects in China and has since signed supply agreements with 13 global automotive original equipment manufacturers across more than 50 vehicle models. The company said more than 5 million vehicles worldwide are currently equipped with SVNet. StradVision said it plans to focus first on securing non-recurring engineering (NRE) development projects in the current Level 2 to Level 2+ autonomous driving market, while ultimately building a revenue model based on software licensing. Kim said the licensing model is expected to generate high profitability because it carries minimal marginal cost. He added the company aims to achieve half-year profitability next year and full profitability by 2028. He said profitability is expected to improve significantly beginning this year as products jointly developed with Aptiv enter mass production. StradVision currently operates five global bases including locations in the US, Germany and China. The company is also pursuing establishment of
