We can only imagine the loads of material a driving school in Texas could supply visual storytellers.

And fortunately for us, local filmmakers Arthur and Fatimah Muhammad pounced on the chance to spin their tales of running a Tarrant County driving school into a comedy feature film.

Aptly titled “Shift Happens,” their new comedy film over the matter will have its first screening at the 30th Annual Urbanworld Film Festival on Thursday, Oct. 15.

The Annual Urbanworld Film Festival is based in New York and is “the world’s largest internationally competitive multicultural film festival and an Academy Award-qualifying event.”

The couple are also the forces behind The Reel Coffeehouse, a cinema-themed café in the Arlington area, as well as Sweet Chariot Driving School.
