Tesla is laying the groundwork for its autonomous ride-hailing network. According to recent site plans and city planning documents, Tesla is set to build a dedicated maintenance and dispatch hub for its Cybercab and Robotaxi fleet in Irving, Texas. This new facility will offer the first look at the footprint required to operate a fully autonomous fleet. Rather than relying entirely on existing consumer Service Centers, Tesla is building specialized infrastructure designed from the ground up to support high-volume, driverless ride-hailing. The project centers around the complete remodel of an existing commercial warehouse. Once operational, this 35,000-square-foot facility will serve as the home for the local autonomous fleet. According to the project description, the building will be used exclusively for the storage, servicing, and repair of autonomous vehicles. Because these vehicles lack human drivers to keep them tidy, the facility will also operate as a massive dispatch and cleaning hub, ensuring every Cybercab hits the road freshly detailed and fully inspected. Fleet Storage and Charging Scale Perhaps the most revealing aspect of the site plan is the scale of the intended deployment. The exterior lot design hints at Tesla planning for a highly concentrated fleet presence in the area from day one. This includes a parking lot with
