The FIA's free-to-play hill climb esports contest goes live on RaceRoom

Better still, the hot-lapping contest is completely free to enter, with players tasked with piloting the BMW 1-Series-based (E82) 134 Judd V8 up the RaceRoom Hillclimb – Full Run layout.

The fastest eight drivers over the duration of the hot-lap qualifying phase, which runs until the 7th September, will be invited to an in-person final in Luxembourg (9th-11th October).

Players can register their entry with the FIA here, with provisional results available via RaceRoom’s time trial competition landing page here. At the time of writing, the fastest driver is Walk Racing’s Mihai Neg, with an impressive 4 min 28.457s.
