No. 95 Car Wins Two-Hour Race While No. 30 Leaps to Title By Tony DiZinno ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – Sunday’s two-hour IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge season finale featured nearly as many twists and turns as the 14 corners making up the 4.048-mile Road America road course. In the end, Toney Driver Development captured both the race win and the championship in the four-race calendar covering races across Sebring International Raceway, Circuit of The Americas, VIRginia International Raceway and Road America. This year marked Nathan Toney’s team’s first full-season effort in IMSA competition, with flawless execution across both its two cars to carry a championship. The team recently committed to another multi-car effort in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge for 2027, which will run seven endurance races. The 2026 Le Mans Prototype 3 (LMP3) season has been split with both sprint rounds and the new Airbnb Endurance Challenge component. “It feels really good,” Toney said. “We knew we had what it took, but we had a couple unfortunate races. We didn’t know if we’d be in the championship. I’m so proud of all the guys. It’s our first full year in any level IMSA series, so it’s pretty surreal. I owe everything to the guys. They bought into the system. “The endurance stuff is the only one we had a full-season entry, as in sprints, we’ve had drivers in and out,” he added. “Endurance is where we shine. Right drivers. Right strategy.” Wyatt Brichacek shared the winning No. 95 Toney Ligier JS P325 with Lincoln Day.
