Based on the Suzuki e Vitara platform, the new EV marks Toyota’s latest push into the growing electric SUV segment. The company has currently revealed the price of the top-spec E3 variant, which has been priced at Rs 23.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices for the lower E1 and E2 variants are expected to be announced soon. With premium features, a long-range battery pack and Level 2 ADAS, the Urban Cruiser Ebella is set to take on rivals like the Hyundai Creta EV, MG ZS EV and upcoming Maruti e Vitara. Toyota says the electric SUV produces 171 bhp and 189 Nm torque, offering a balance of performance and efficiency for both city and highway driving. The SUV supports both AC and DC fast charging, while battery and charging functions can also be monitored remotely through Toyota’s connected car platform.
