Venti Technologies plans to launch a driver-out autonomous truck fleet at a U.S. intermodal rail yard in 2026.
The Venti autonomous truck fleet will operate without dedicated lanes or terminal modifications, according to the company.
Venti said the deployment will be the first autonomous truck fleet of its kind at a U.S. intermodal rail yard.
“America’s supply chain is about to get its first truly autonomous fleet,” said Heidi Wyle, Ph.D., founder and CEO of Venti Technologies.
The Venti autonomous truck fleet planned for the U.S. will extend that technology into railroad intermodal operations.
