Wayve, NVIDIA and Stellantis have teamed up with the French government to accelerate the development and deployment of autonomous vehicles in France, with the broader goal of advancing AI-powered mobility across Europe.
The collaboration was announced at the Assises du Véhicule Autonome, France’s autonomous vehicle forum.
It brings together expertise in artificial intelligence, automotive engineering, computing and vehicle manufacturing to help move autonomous driving technology closer to real-world deployment.
Together, the technologies are intended to provide a foundation for developing and deploying autonomous vehicles at scale.
The French government is also working to adapt the regulatory framework for autonomous vehicles while maintaining strict requirements for safety and data sovereignty.
