Founded in 2008, ParkMobile became a darling of Venture Atlanta and the region’s broader tech scene. Along the way, the company surpassed 20 million users and recruited prominent local tech leaders. Then came a series of ownership changes. BMW Group acquired ParkMobile in 2018. EasyPark Group later completed its acquisition of PARK NOW Group, which included ParkMobile, in 2021.
