Up to 500km range, triple screen cabin setup Tata Motors begun this year with the launch of Harrier and Safari petrol SUVs, followed by the Punch EV facelift. The carmaker is now gearing up to introduce the Tata Sierra EV, which is expected to arrive by the second quarter of 2026 (April to June). The EV iteration will be manufactured alongside its ICE counterpart at Tata’s Sanand facility in Gujarat. In terms of pricing and positioning, it will compete with the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, Maruti e Vitara and the upcoming Toyota eBella. The production-ready Tata Sierra EV is yet to be revealed. However, the carmaker has previously released a teaser showing its front fascia that appears slightly different from the ICE-powered Sierra. The EV features a closed-off grille in body colour finish and slightly different detailing on the bumper. The overall design language and dimensions will remain intact. No official images and detailed specifications of the interior are available as of now. However, it’s expected to have a cabin layout and feature list similar to its ICE counterpart. Based on this, the Sierra EV is likely to come with a triple screen setup consisting a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster behind the steering and a 12.3-inch passenger screen. Features such as iRA connected car suite, auto dimming IRVM, 6-way powered driver’s seat with memory function, built-in navigation with Mappls Auto, a 13-speaker JBL ‘Black’sound system, dual rear 65W USB Type C-ports and Level 2 ADAS suite will continue to be offered in higher trims.
