A new week brings a new set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races, with three fresh events now live and running through next Monday. Race A delivers a charmingly British pairing this week: the Ford Sierra RS 500 Cosworth at Brands Hatch on the full GP layout. It’s a great combo on paper, a touring car icon on one of the sport’s most iconic circuits, but Comfort Soft tires take some of the shine off. You’ll be sliding around Paddock Hill Bend on rubber that doesn’t exactly inspire confidence through quick direction changes. It’s a short four-lapper with no tire wear to speak of, so you’re really just managing the lack of grip. Race B puts the Gr.4 field on Grand Valley Highway 1 in reverse, another four-lap sprint but this time on Racing Hard tires. Grand Valley in reverse is a flowing, high-speed layout that tends to reward cars with good straight-line stability, and the lack of a mandatory pit stop means it’s a pure race-pace affair. With no drivetrain restriction, the usual Gr.4 balance questions apply. Race C is where the strategy lives this week: Gr.3 at Suzuka over ten laps with 5x tire wear, 2x fuel consumption, and a mandatory pit stop. Racing Medium is the only tire available, so there’s no strategic compound decisions to make, it’s just a matter of when to pit. At 5x wear, those mediums will be falling off noticeably by the midpoint of a stint, so timing the stop becomes the key variable. Pit too early and you’re vulnerable at the end; pit too late and you’ll be nursing worn rubber through the Esses and 130R while faster cars on fresh tires close in. The eNASCAR College iRacing Series powered by PlayVS College League returns for the 2026-27 academic year. While there’s still more to announce in the coming months, what is confirmed are the dates and times. All of the action for the Fall and Spring semesters will continue at the same time on the same night—Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. ET. “With NASCAR and iRacing, we’ve built a series that continues to raise the bar for collegiate competition,” said Charles O’Donnell, Director of PlayVs College League. “Each season brings new energy, new talent, and a deeper level of competition that reflects how far this community has come. For the 2026–27 season, we’re building on that strong foundation with more events and a format designed to deliver even greater intensity and opportunity for our students.” The season expands from six Tournaments to eight in the upcoming season. Tournaments will still consist of a Time Attack, followed by two weeks of racing. Four Tournaments will take place from September to November in the Fall, and the other four for the Spring are scheduled between January and March.
