Simucube unveils ActivePedal Sport The force feedback-producing pedal will debut at this weekend’s SimRacing Expo Frankfurt Simucube has officially revealed a new ‘entry-level’ version of its ActivePedal technology, with the Sport set for its public debut at SimRacing Expo Frankfurt.
Sitting below the Finnish company’s flagship ActivePedal Ultimate and ActivePedal Pro, the Sport offers similar haptic feedback effects with a few compromises compared to its more powerful siblings.
So, the Sport has a maximum force of 100 Kg compared with the Ultimate’s 170 Kg, a maximum pedal travel of 60 mm compared with 79 mm, and weighs 3.4 Kg compared with the beefier flagship’s 6 Kg.
Simucube assures us that the Sport is still built to the same exacting standards as its other products, with the pedal able to be used as a brake, throttle or clutch, replete with adjustable ABS, lock-up and slip effects via the firm’s proprietary Simucube Tuner software.

Project Motor Racing’s latest DLC pack has been unveiled.
Launching on 10th November, the World Endurance Pack adds 11 new cars to the vehicle roster alongside the Fuji Speedway track.
The new cars are spread across four classes, from the historic IMSA GTP to the modern LMP2 EVO.
The fictional Olivera P2-13, seemingly inspired by Zytek, and P2-26 EVO (based on the Oreca 07) join the LMP2 and LMP2 EVO classes, respectively.
Rounding out the new vehicles are six historic cars from the US IMSA GTP series: the 1986 BMW March GTP, 1986 Chevrolet Corvette C4 GTP, 1986 Ford Probe GTP, 1988 Jaguar XJR 9 GTP, 1988 Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo and the 1988 Porsche 962 GTP.

When the Reno Air Races first came to Microsoft Flight Simulator in November 2021, racing around the pylons meant paying for the privilege.
