Siri Hökfelt enjoyed a successful return to the track following her accident earlier this year, securing fifth in class with a mixed WS Racing outfit. Rookie Sofia Necchi completed a promising first NLS race with sixth in class, while Katja Thomas led the V3 class, overcoming a penalty in the closing stages. The weekend featured not only the race itself but also several special tests and events for a number of female racing drivers. Swedish driver Siri Hökfelt kicked things off on Friday. After recovering from a serious accident during qualifying earlier in the season, she was making her NLS comeback, an occasion that led to some very special moments right from the start. A new trailer has dropped for Endurance Motorsport Series, showcasing a new fictional track and several previously unseen cars.
While several the “sim-lite” racer will feature several real-world circuits such as Fuji Speedway, Monza and Spa, the trailer showcases a fictional circuit called Nevada Motor Speedway.
Spanning 5.1 kilometres, it features a mix of long straights and technical sections. High temperatures and humidity will also affect grip, requiring strategic tyre management in endurance races.
Continuing the US theme, three previously unannounced cars are also shown racing around the Nevada circuit: the Cadillac V-Series.R, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R and Ford Mustang GT3.
The Cadillac is powered by a 5.5-litre V8 paired with a hybrid system and competes in the World Endurance Championship’s Hypercar class. Based on the high-performance Z06 production car, the Corvette Z06 GT3.R is powered by a 5.5-litre LT6 V8, while the Mustang GT3 utilises a naturally-aspirated, 5.4-litre V8.
These join other previously confirmed endurance prototypes, including the BMW M Hybrid V8, Lamborghini SC63 and Porsche 963 LMDh.

Indie racer Formula Legends has added a trio of new circuits as part of the Historic Track Pack DLC.
The three circuits included in the pack are fictional, but inspired by real-world locations from different eras of motorsport.
Playable in classic and modern variations, San Marino Motorsports Park appears to be inspired by Imola, while Dutch Dunes Circuit seems to be based on Zandvoort with its surrounding sand dunes.
Meanwhile, Hatchwood Circuit looks like a fictional version of Brands Hatch, replicating the high-elevation Paddock Hill Bend.
Priced at £4.99 / $4.99, the Historic Track Pack DLC is available from today, 25th June, on PC, PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
Alongside the DLC, a new Modern Hatchwood layout is available for free for all players.

Even as there is a growing chatter around Formula One’s potential return to India in the near future, the country’s representation in the sport has been sparse. So far, there have been only two drivers who have managed to reach the glamorous world of F1, and there hasn’t been one on the grid since 2012. Now, in a bid to identify potential future racing drivers, the Mumbai Falcons Racing Team is seeking to create a pathway to unearth talent, albeit in an unconventional way. One of the biggest problems is that the sport is the preserve of the rich, and the cost of trying to forge a career, even at the lowest levels, is prohibitive. To address that, Mumbai Falcons - which competes in various championships in the UAE and the Middle East and has run current F1 drivers like Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Arvid Linblad - will host a nationwide Sim Racing championship in association with F1 to help some of the top performers transition to real-world racing. “The idea is basically to find the next F1 driver. That’s the ultimate goal. But when we got into the psyche kids, we found out it’s too expensive and dangerous. That’s when we thought of doing this: virtual-to-reality? And then, you never know, you can just find one star out of them and who can start coming to our academy in Dubai and move up the rungs from karting to F4, F3 and so on,” said Ameet Gadhoke, owner of Mumbai Falcons. Participants will race from home on their console of preference at the first stage of screening.
