Corsair at Computex '26: AIOs with “smartphone” displays

One more report from Computex 2026—this time from Corsair. Among other things, the team behind the brand showcased ambitious liquid coolers distinguished by large displays used for monitoring key processor parameters. In this article, you can take a closer look at these coolers, there is some material available on them. We also documented a noteworthy PC case that is heading to market as well. Corsair’s exhibit was truly extensive, and in this article we will focus on the Warthog WX-01 and WX-02 cases as well as the Titan II liquid coolers. But let’s take things step by step. The Corsair booth was divided into several room-like sections, each dedicated to a different theme. The exhibit covered a variety of market segments and included gaming products from brands owned by Corsair, such as Fanatec (sim racing wheels, for example) and Elgato (microphones and other streaming/recording products). Yes, both are under the Corsair umbrella, even though they carry different logos. Among the new products, the Warthog cases (WX-01 and WX-02) attracted considerable attention. Their design takes inspiration from the aerospace industry, with several elements modeled after the A-10 Thunderbolt aircraft. In terms of volume, these are midi-tower cases focused on achieving the most effective cooling possible. What particularly interests us are the upcoming Titan II coolers (including RGB, LCD, and the flagship Ultra variant). Among other features, they use displays with fairly large diagonals (judge for yourself from the photos…), intended for displaying various real-time parameters, including processor temperatures, naturally. However, what ultimately makes a cooler a cooler is its cooling performance. Corsair claims a generation-to-generation improvement of up to 3°C at comparable noise levels. The ‘unusual and unfortunate’ reason why Hulkenberg's race in Barcelona came to an abrupt end Audi failed to score in Barcelona-Catalunya, but there were some rather strange reasons as to exactly why Nico Hulkenberg could not finish in the top 10. Nico Hulkenberg looked on track for his first top-10 finish of the season in the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, but the Audi driver was forced to retire the car mid-race for a highly unusual reason. The German is one of four drivers yet to score this season – along with Lance Stroll, Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas – but that seemed set to change on Sunday as he was running in the top 10 and fighting hard with Liam Lawson for P9. With the two battling on Lap 28, the New Zealander ran wide at Turn 12 and dipped a wheel into the gravel, some of which was sent into the path of the Audi behind. In a freak occurence, the gravel hit the car's safety fire switch and triggered a shutdown of Hulkenberg's R26. As a result the German was left unable to do anything but coast into the pits and retire from the race. “It was a very unusual and unfortunate retirement," Hulkenberg explained afterwards. "Liam [Lawson] ran slightly wide ahead of me and put a wheel into the gravel at Turn 12, which kicked up a lot of stones. “Some of them hit our car and appear to have triggered the emergency safety switch, causing a complete shutdown of the system. "Everything switched off instantly and that was the end of our race. The FIA Is Looking To Revitalise <b>Sim Racing</b> With New Championship

The governing body of world motorsport, the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile, or FIA to most people, has announced it is looking for a partner to produce an officially sanctioned sim racing championship. In an announcement post released earlier today, the FIA has requested proposals from interested parties for new sim racing championships that would be officially sanctioned by, and run in collaboration with, the FIA. The FIA has dabbled in the world of esports before, with some sanctioned events running around the world, but few have been truly global championships that feature the very best sim racing talent in the world. Now, it seems that the organisation is looking to change that, with a request for tournament operators to come up with ideas for major championships and events. While full details of the scale the FIA is looking to achieve are a little thin on the ground, it is clear this is a bigger project than most FIA sanctioned events we have seen before. The call for proposals mentions LAN finals, and hints at a global format which many would interpret as an invitation for a major LAN event with drivers from all corners of the world. “Esports represents one of the most accessible and rapidly growing forms of competition, creating new pathways for people around the world to engage with motor sport,” said H.E. Mohammed Ben Sulayem, President of the FIA. “This Call for Proposal marks an important milestone in the development of the FIA’s Esports strategy as we identify opportunities that will support sustainable growth and attract new audiences and competitors.” Unsurprisingly the announcement post mentions multi-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen, who has long been a sim racing fan and has helped grow the competitive scene through his own racing and his sim racing team. Three classic Renault F1 cars released for free in AMS 2 Hungaroring and Historic Track Pack Pt4 available as DLC Michelin and Bridgestone tyre war commences in-game New content has been released for Automobilista 2, with the Hungaroring, the fourth part of the sim’s Historic Track Pack and three classic Renault Formula 1 cars arriving.
