For the 2026 edition on 25–28 June, Valentino Rossi will be the centre of attention. Leclerc looking for answers after ‘most difficult weekend of my career’ in Canada Despite improving to the top-four in the Canadian Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc reiterated his struggles over the weekend. Charles Leclerc concluded that the Canadian Grand Prix was undoubtedly the “most difficult weekend” of his career so far, the Ferrari driver struggling to extract performance out of his SF-26 even with a top-four finish. While his team mate Lewis Hamilton appeared to be the most comfortable he’s felt at the Scuderia, Leclerc was unable to match his pace and reported issues with his brakes on Friday, which affected his confidence in committing to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve’s extreme braking zones. A result of fifth in the Sprint seemed to boost his optimism for the rest of the weekend before he ended Qualifying eighth, four tenths adrift of polesitter George Russell. Tyre management then became his greatest problem in the 68-lap Grand Prix, leaving him to focus on bringing the car home safely in P4 after benefitting from incidents further ahead. “It was a horrible, horrible weekend,” Leclerc summarised afterwards. “I had already said it was probably the most difficult weekend so far of my Formula 1 career. I’ve finished the race now and I can definitely say it’s the most difficult weekend of my Formula 1 career so far. “Never could put the tyres in the right window, but it has nothing to do with the car of course – Lewis has done an incredible job and congratulations to him. On my side I’ve just been struggling. I had no feeling with the car. “The only positive of a weekend like this is I’ve got Lewis in the same car and I can look at what he did this weekend and try to get answers on why I

It was unveiled last year, it was playable at the SimRacing Expo Charlotte and now the Simucube 3 Ultimate wheel base has a release date. The 35Nm direct drive wheel base complements the 15Nm Sport and 25Nm Pro variants, and up until this point, was simply listed as ‘Out of Stock’ on the Simucube website. It has now been confirmed at the North Carolinian event that the current pinnacle of the Finnish manufacturer’s range will start shipping on Tuesday, 16th June 2026. Inside the distinctive black and orange chassis is a ‘Spoke IPM’ motor, which Simucube claims is the quickest responding motor it’s ever created. It also features telemetry-based effects for additional texture and compatibility with the outfit’s proprietary LightBridge contactless power and data system. It’s priced from $/€3,299. A new week brings a new set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races, with three fresh events now live and running through next Monday. Race A is going to be the fun one this week. It’s the Honda Integra Type R (DC2) ’98 on Comfort Softs around Suzuka, with three laps from a grid start. On paper, it’s a tidy little combo with classic appeal. In practice, Comfort Softs and a standing start at a circuit famous for its first-corner mistakes is an invitation for chaos in lower-ranked lobbies. Expect dive bombs into Turn 1, expect contact, and expect Race A to fill up anyway, because the Integra at Suzuka is the kind of pairing people will sign up for regardless. Race B drops Gr.4 onto Deep Forest Raceway for five laps on Racing Hards, rolling start, brake balance the only setting open. Not much in the way of strategy, just a quick blast through the trees. Race C is the longest event of the week at 11 laps of Watkins Glen’s Long Course in Gr.3 cars, with a 2x fuel multiplier and 5x tire wear. Both Racing Hard and Racing Soft tires are required, so even without a mandatory stop, you’re making one to swap compounds. The Long Course has plenty of long sweeping corners where Gr.3’s downforce should do real work, which makes this one of the more interesting combinations on offer this week. Mercedes Russell had a slow start from pole and lost out to both Antonelli and Norris. With the McLaren man pitting out of the way early on, Antonelli was released – but he soon lost out to Russell, who got in front but could not pull away. That led to lap after lap of fighting, with both drivers locking up, running wide, going side by side, coming close to touching and somehow keeping their battle clean. The lead changed hands multiple times, with Antonelli seemingly slightly faster, while Russell was a bit tidier. But the highly entertaining tussle ended early when Russell parked up with a loss of power, his frustration clear to see as he hit his car in disbelief. Antonelli was untroubled from there as he drove away to win a fourth consecutive race, extending his lead in the standings over Russell to 43 points. Kimi Antonelli, 1st "First of all, massive commiserations to George. I feel very sorry for him as he was leading the race and was super strong. We were having a great battle in that first stint and very close on pace. I am sure it would have gone right until the end of the Grand Prix, and I am disappointed we didn't get the chance to continue that. "It was not an easy race for us. The wind was very tricky and with the low temperatures, it was hard to get the tyres working. We had several lock-ups, particularly in the early stages, but fortunately were able to keep it on the track and get to the chequered flag first. It is of course not how we want to win but we will take it. We now get ready for the European portion of the season and six races in eight weekends leading

‘I feel very light right now’ – Hamilton hails Canada P2 as ‘happiest day at Ferrari so far’ Lewis Hamilton was left delighted after his best-ever Sunday result for Ferrari at the Canadian Grand Prix, the seven-time World Champion returning to the podium with a P2 finish. Lewis Hamilton has celebrated his P2 finish at the Canadian Grand Prix as his “happiest day at Ferrari so far”, with the seven-time World Champion left feeling “very light” after securing his best finish in his time with the squad. After displaying good pace earlier in the weekend, Hamilton faced some disappointment in Saturday’s Sprint where he slipped back to a final result of P6. Things went much more in the Briton’s favour come Sunday, however, as he made gains from P5 on the grid to eventually find himself battling against Red Bull’s Max Verstappen for second place. Hamilton ultimately won the fight and could not hide his joy at securing P2, a result that comes after some ups and downs since his time with the Scuderia began in 2025. “Oh man, it’s the happiest day of my days at Ferrari so far,” Hamilton beamed after the race. “It feels great to be able to put the Ferrari on the podium, and to get my first second place with the team as well in the main race, and this is my second podium as well. “I’m just elated and so proud of the team for working so hard. I finally have the engineering team that I’ve been working towards. I think our car is great, the guys did a fantastic job over the winter to get the car where it is, and I think I understand it a lot better and much more comfortable with it. “Whilst we’re not exactly where we want
Tickets on sale now for event that will be part of Grand Prix™ Season Singapore and feature the Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup with fastest players from a regional time trial invited to compete 25 May 2026 – Round 3 of the 2026 Gran Turismo World Series will be held at Singapore’s Sands Theatre, located in the iconic Marina Bay Sands complex, on Saturday, 3 October, 2026. Tickets are now on sale for the event that will be held in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board and form one of the events of Grand Prix™ Season Singapore (2 to 11 October 2026) as the city builds up to its annual Formula 1 race, that takes place from 9 to 11 October 2026. A Singapore Regional Time Trial Challenge held in-game on Gran Turismo 7 in August, with participants from Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia and Indonesia eligible to take part (Terms and Conditions will be posted on Gran-Turismo.com in due course). The Time Trial will result in competitors from Singapore being joined by the fastest racer from each of the other participating territories, invited to attend the Gran Turismo World Series and compete on stage in a special support race – the Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup.
