A list of compatible wheels has been published to Forza's support website, and it details which wheel bundles do and do not work at this point in time. Logitech is leading the field, with a whole plethora of its wheels (including ones from over 10 years ago) holding full support in FH6. It seems the G Pro, RS50, G923, and G920 have been priorities for the Forza devs to ensure support for - which makes sense as these will likely be some of the most popular sim racing kits around. KartSim Pro Middle East & Asia Software released for rFactor 2 Includes 14 officially licensed karts and 10 circuits with 45 separate layouts KartSim has revealed its latest DLC pack for rFactor 2, consisting of 14 kart models and 10 venues across the Middle East and Asia. The KartSim Pro Middle East & Asia Software is now available and includes officially licensed karts from Rotax and IAME, including the popular IAME Senior X30 and Rotax Senior Max platforms. In terms of circuits, the new DLC features the largest kart track in Asia, the LYL International Karting Circuit, as well as the United Arab Emirates’ premier karting venue, RAK Track. All circuits have been laser-scanned for maximum accuracy, with 45 layouts available in total. There’s one small caveat to the above, however, in that the software costs an eye-watering £499, so it’s definitely pitched toward the aspiring motorsport superstar or karting enthusiast rather than your casual sim racer. KartSim is a UK-based business which specialises in providing high-end karting simulation equipment and software, and just last year, it released a swathe of updated kart models and circuits, its first piece of new content since 2022. While there are many points of intersection between cars and popular culture, few are as direct as the cross-over in enthusiast devotion of car culture and video games. Car racing games have been a staple genre of gaming pretty much since the dawn of video games, and the fast-paced evolution of the technology has pushed it into unprecedented realms of realism. That’s why it makes perfect sense that the country manager of Logitech New Zealand - one of the leading suppliers of both pro and consumer-level sim racing equipment - is an absolute car nut. Outside of his day job leading the local arm of the company that gives us such gear as the popular G923 wheel for PC, Xbox and PlayStation, the pro-grade Pro Racing Wheel, as well as the new - and thoroughly fantastic - RS50 wheel, Jamie Hall is a car guy through and through. And he has the garage history to prove it, not least of which is his current daily driver; a Subaru Levorg wagon that blurs the line between a practical family car and a true showpiece. If you first see Hall’s Levorg behind a low wall, you could be forgiven for thinking it is nothing special, giving off all the presence of a bog-standard white Levorg. However, cop an eyeful of it in full, with its aggressively low stance and bodywork almost scraping on the ground, and you quickly realize it is anything but standard. Inspired by the rather awesome American mini-truck scene that burst onto the scene in the late 80s/early 90s, Hall’s Levorg is a fully-airbagged lowrider that somehow manages to perfectly blend showy sensationalism and genuine family practicality. “I made my mind up on the airbags first and then was like, ‘What's the car to put them in?’,” said Hall.

Not to say the 18 previous wins were anything short of impressive, but the season-opening, caution-free Coca-Cola 160 from Charlotte Motor Speedway on Tuesday night may just have been the ERA eSports Team driver’s most impressive win to-date, considering the competition and conditions in place. It’s a common theme to see the “Road Course King” do this sort of work on a road course, but in a series mostly made up of oval racing, where he’s still chasing that elusive Dale Jr Cup entering his 10th season, by taking the pole position, leading 65 laps, passing his setup alliance teammate Tucker Minter in the closing stage, and holding off the most-recent champion, Steven Wilson—who set a record for wins in a single season last year—Zalenski uncovered another unchecked box to check, claiming his first season-opening race victory of his career. The stage was set following the final green flag pit stops of the day. Minter opted for the undercut, to get the track position in the cycle and play defense. Wilson went for the overcut in addition to two less fresh tires, only taking right sides and “enough” fuel to make it to the checkers. Zalenski, who pitted in the middle, was fast enough to take back the lead and then hold off a charge in the closing laps to claim the victory.
