NASCAR star Tyler Reddick reveals his iconic Japanese sports car

Only four drivers have won five of the first nine NASCAR Cup Series races to start a season, and Tyler Reddick is one of them, having achieved that feat at Kansas Speedway this week. Reddick, who drives a Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing, became the first driver to win the first three races in a row at the beginning of the season, and is currently leading the points standings after a worst finish of just 15th so far this year. But the two-time Xfinity Series champion doesn’t limit his Toyota partnership to the track, with the Japanese giant’s US division revealing Reddick has one of the brand’s cult classics in his garage – a 1993 Toyota Supra MkIV. Also known as the ‘A80’ Supra, the two-door coupe was built between 1993 and 2002, though production for North American markets ended in 1998. Powered by a 3.0-litre straight-six engine best known as the ‘2JZ’, the Supra was available as naturally aspirated or twin-turbo, with Reddick’s example being the latter. While the Supra has soared in popularity thanks to its appearance in the first ‘The Fast and the Furious’ film back in 2001, the car owned by Reddick appears to be far more understated than the movie car. Riding on Enkei wheels with uprated brakes behind them, it’s unclear what additional modifications – if any – have been made to the Supra, though finding an example which has been left in as close to original condition as this is rare. Reddick still has a way to go to reach the car collection status of team owner Michael Jordan, with the six-time NBA Championship winner owning classics including slant-nose Porsche 930 Turbos and C4 Chevrolet Corvettes. Here are a few of the highlighted series taking place this week — 2026 Season 2, Week 6 — from April 21st to April 27th in 2026. WEEKLY RACING SERIES These are the series that are not confined to the iRacing seasons, that run independently throughout the course of the year and feature some of the most recognizable motorsports racing around. From NASCAR to the Whelen Modifieds, from Formula 1 to INDYCAR, and even some weekly local dirt track racing, iRacing offers many special series to jump in an compete in! NEW! iRACING DTM SERIES The iRacing DTM Series is a midweek championship that runs ahead of each real-world DTM round, using the same track where possible and a suitable alternative when not. Races are 55 minutes, time-based with a rolling start, and drivers are free to choose any car and change week to week. Official sessions are scheduled globally at 8:00 PM local time on Thursdays in each region. Week 1 of 8 will take place at the Red Bull Ring – Grand Prix. Video Game Throwback: Growing Up Gran Turismo Part 5 - GT PSP After the release of Gran Turismo 4, there was a bit of a lull in the Polyphony Digital sim-racing universe. The fourth instalment of the franchise was released in 2004, and there wouldn’t be another proper game until 2010. During this time period, two stopgap games did appear. The first was Gran Turismo 5: Prologue in 2007, which was nothing more than a glorified demo, intended to hold fans over until the full game was available (which would take another three years). The other was Gran Turismo for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld gaming system. It Has the Meat Probably the most forgotten member of the Gran Turismo family, it was released in the fall of 2009. Surprisingly, this handheld game had over 800 cars stuffed onto its mini-disc. Many of the cars were nothing more than variations on a theme, and once again the game was overcrowded with Skylines, S2000s, Silvias, and Civics. Still, the sheer number of manufacturers and cars was impressive. Surprisingly, for a handheld spin-off, new manufacturers were introduced with this title. Gran Turismo for the PSP was the very first time Ferrari, Bugatti, and Lamborghini could be driven in the world of Gran Turismo. The game even had a free DLC pack with several cars players could immediately use once downloaded. Acquiring the rest of the cars wasn’t so easy, especially if there was a specific vehicle a player was looking for. There was no manufacturer screen to buy cars. The only way to buy cars was through the dealership that offered random groupings of manufacturers with a selection of cars for sale. Every two days in-game (basically two races or two challenges), the dealership would have new cars available to purchase. And
