Polyphony Digital announced today that MOZA Racing has officially joined the Gran Turismo World Series as one of its newest official peripheral partners. Founded in 2012 by automotive engineers and simulation enthusiasts, MOZA Racing has become one of the leading names in sim racing hardware. Its lineup includes direct-drive wheel bases, steering wheels, Active Pedals, shifters, motion systems and other racing peripherals. As part of the new partnership, the company is working with Polyphony Digital on a Gran Turismo-branded steering wheel controller that will feature native support for Gran Turismo 7. MOZA Racing CEO Chenyong Guan called the partnership a major milestone for the company, saying Gran Turismo has inspired generations of racing fans and that the team is excited to help bring new experiences to players through the collaboration. Yoong made history when he became Malaysia’s first F1 driver, racing for Minardi in 2001. It’s an officially licensed replica developed using the real Revuelto’s CAD data, along with lots of thoughtful touches.

In a surprise announcement, Moza Racing is now the official peripheral partner of Gran Turismo 7 – a shock considering none of its hardware is currently compatible with the PS5. The announcement comes alongside confirmation that first-party studio Polyphony Digital will be partnering with the manufacturer on “a Gran Turismo-branded steering-wheel controller”. Exactly what hardware it’s going to use at upcoming Gran Turismo World Series events in the meantime is unclear, although I’m sure both parties considered that before signing the deal. In fact, it sounds like part of this partnership includes Moza Racing really strengthening its relationship with the PS5 in general. A spokesperson told Traxion: “This partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter for Moza Racing, as the company works toward introducing its first officially licensed PlayStation racing products. While development remains underway, Moza Racing looks forward to sharing more in the coming months as it continues expanding its ecosystem and delivering new experiences for Gran Turismo players worldwide. This is only the beginning, with more exciting announcements to come.” Moza Racing generally makes extremely high quality racing hardware, designed for enthusiasts. Red Bull Team Principal Laurent Mekies has admitted that the team will shift more of its focus toward the 2027 season car following the summer break, at the expense of further developing the RB22, the model used in F1 2026. The boss indicated that the transition is natural, but noted that the decision is also driven by the fact that the team is not currently in contention for the title. In 2025, Red Bull made significant progress in the closing stages of the season. With Max Verstappen in the title hunt, the team introduced several upgrade packages — at a much higher volume than McLaren — allowing the Dutchman to take the fight to the final round, although he was ultimately defeated by Lando Norris by just two points. However, that effort came at the cost of development time for the current season’s car, leaving Red Bull slightly off the pace of the frontrunners at the start of F1 2026. In an interview with Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Mekies emphasized that while the RB22 will still receive updates, they will come in smaller quantities than in late 2025, as primary focus moves to next year’s campaign. “We are in a very different situation from last year, when we were in full fightback mode and competing for the title until the very end. Because of that, we won’t push as hard now as we did on that occasion. After the summer break, most of our attention will shift to the 2027 car, which I consider completely normal. After making their surprise GT7 return as a Viewers Gift for the Milan round of the Gran Turismo World Series back in May, two more Stealth Models are up for grabs when Round 2 broadcasts from Polyphony Digital’s Tokyo studio on Saturday, August 15. As before, all you need to do to earn them is watch the race broadcasts from inside the game. The New Cars Like the Milan campaign, the rewards are split across the two championship streams. Watching the Manufacturers Cup stream earns you a Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3) Stealth Model, the racing version of the concept car that famously previewed the design of the current Supra. The Nations Cup stream delivers a Mazda 787B ’91 Stealth Model, and that one is a genuine blast from the past. The black-liveried 787B was one of the original GT5 Stealth Models, rare enough at the time that Autoart turned it into a 1/18-scale physical model back in 2012. Both cars wear the signature deep black Stealth livery, and Polyphony confirms neither will be available for purchase anywhere in the game. MOZA Racing has joined the Gran Turismo World Series as an official partner, giving the sim racing hardware manufacturer a prominent marketing platform as it prepares to launch its first officially licensed PlayStation products. MOZA branding will appear in the championship’s official broadcast beginning with the second round of the 2026 season in Tokyo on Aug. 15. Financial terms and the duration of the agreement were not disclosed. The partnership begins during an ongoing GTWS season rather than between campaigns. The opening round took place in Milan on May 23, with further events scheduled for Tokyo, Singapore, and the World Finals in Tokyo in December. MOZA is part of Shenzhen-based Gudsen Technology, a business originally built around professional camera-stabilization equipment. Gudsen later applied its experience with electric motors, motion control, and stabilization systems to sim racing, introducing MOZA-branded direct-drive hardware in 2021. The company has since expanded into wheelbases, steering wheels, pedals, shifters, dashboards, and flight-simulation equipment. In other words, a PlayStation-compatible Moza wheel is coming. Moza’s First Step Onto PlayStation If you follow sim racing hardware, you already know Moza. Founded in 2012 by a group of automotive engineers and simulation enthusiasts, the company has built out a full ecosystem of direct drive wheel bases, steering wheels, its “Active Pedal” force feedback pedals, and even motion systems. What Moza has never had is a product that works on a PlayStation console. Its hardware has been almost entirely a PC affair, with a minor foray into Xbox territory with the R3 back in 2023. Moza R5 Pro bundle brings upgraded torque, improved feedback, and more Moza has released an update to it relatively budget R5 racing bundle (our review). The R5 Pro bundle brings some minor improvements without a price increase. The wheelbase, steering wheel, and the pedals have been somewhat upgraded, with most of the improvements pertaining to the wheelbase. Moza R5 Pro racing simulator bundle features The original Moza R5 direct drive wheelbase was rated for 5.5 Nm of torque despite its compact form factor. The PC-only R5 Pro wheelbase maintains the compact build but switches to less boxy design, and ups the torque to 6 Nm. Moza has also updated its force feedback algorithm to NexGen 5.0, which it claims delivers a more refined and realistic experience. The 21-bit high resolution magnetic encoder is said to deliver 64 times the precision. The ES Steering wheel that came with the R5 bundle has been “upgraded” to the ES Lite. The size, buttons, LEDs, and shape remain the same, but the pedals are now metal. Rubber grips have been added to the sides and the center strip seems to be wider with the ES Lite. The SR-P Lite pedals have been upgraded to SR-P Lite2, but retain the two-pedal combo with room for expansion. They are Hall effect pedals with a good amount of adjustability and durable high-strength steel construction. There are ample upgrade options available as well. Moza Racing’s first foray into motion sim racing is now available.
The HMA150 Haptic Motion Actuator has been released today, 28th July 2026, and will be priced at $2,999 / €3,199 / £2,799 (for the four-actuator set).
To be clear, this isn’t for a full setup, including seat and cockpit, for example.
Instead, this is a quartet of motion actuators, which can be retrofitted to a sim racing rig and provide movement with the aim of increasing immersion.
Initially showcased at the San Francisco GDC event in March, the four-axis system aims to replicate pitch, roll and heave effects through 150 mm of travel and at response speeds of up to 300 mm/s. It features an integrated controller and includes an emergency stop switch.
Moza claims to have developed its own servo motors, control algorithms, structural engineering and software.
Speaking of the software, Moza Motion Manager, it allows for settings such as vibration effects, motion range, intensity and individual movement axes to be tweaked.

WEEKLY RACING SERIES These are the series that are not confined to the iRacing seasons, that run independently throughout the course of the year and feature some of the most recognizable motorsports racing around. From NASCAR to the Whelen Modifieds, from Formula 1 to INDYCAR, and even some weekly local dirt track racing, iRacing offers many special series to jump in an compete in! DIRT 410 SPRINT CAR TOUR Modeled heavily after real-world events and featuring dozens of America’s top dirt tracks, the Dirt 410 Sprint Car Tour features 37 weeks of championship racing in the Dirt 410 Sprint Car. Week 24 of 37 will take place at Williams Grove Speedway.
