Bobby Zalenski bags 21st career eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series ...

Bobby Zalenski bags 21st career eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series victory at Nashville July 29th, 2026 by Justin Melillo For the majority of Bobby Zalenski’s wins in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series, they come after a dominating day at the track, often on road courses. On the concrete oval known as Nashville Superspeedway, Zalenski had all of the cards on a night that looked to be heading towards a top-ten, at best. The ERA eSports Team competitor outlasted a second triple eNASCAR Overtime in-a-row to claim his third win of the 2026 season and the 21st of his career, breaking a tie for second on the all-time wins list with former series champion Nick Ottinger. Zalenski only managed to qualify 17th, and during the long run, was running around 10th. Suddenly, just before the pit cycle began, Zalenski turned up the wick. The field was fragmented on strategies, and after a race two weeks ago where everyone on the same strategy wound up facing a similar dilemma in eNASCAR Overtime at Indianapolis, this time it was all over the place. Zalenski’s choice to run up to second, pit for four tires, get his lap back, and stay out for the late race restarts put him in the prime position to grab a win he might not have been in contention for without the right breaks. On the second-to-last restart, Zalenski started in third, pushing the most-recent winner prior, Parker White, out into the lead around rookie Shawn Conklin. Once Zalenski was clear of Conklin, he moved to the outside of White and grabbed his right rear, pulling him back on the exit of the corner before the field exploded once again, setting up for a third and final restart. On that restart, the field held it together long enough

In recent years, Moza Racing has become a mainstay of the sim racing market, but it's never brought its wares to a PlayStation platform before, until now. Via the Gran Turismo news blog, an announcement has been made about Moza joining the GT World Series as an official peripheral partner. Moza has become known for making some of the best racing wheels on PC and the best Xbox steering wheels, especially thanks to their great value for money and modular designs. As part of this new partnership with Polyphony Digital (and by proxy, Sony), the brands will be collaborating to produce an officially licensed, Gran Turismo-branded sim racing wheel controller. Moza's existing racing kit is all PC-focused, but it does offer some of the more affordable wheels in this space. Starting from sub-$150 budget options and generally capping out at the $400 Moza R5, there's a good spread of price points to choose from. Interestingly, there hasn't been a mention of pedals or peripherals like gear shifters and handbrakes, but it may well be that compatibility will exist for existing Moza accessories once a wheelbase and wheel have the correct protocols. "At MOZA Racing, our mission has always been to make professional-grade sim racing more accessible while continually pushing the boundaries of performance and immersion," said

MOZA for PS5: What We Know and All the Questions That Still Remain

For years, talking about using a MOZA wheel on PlayStation meant talking about adapters, improvised setups, and results that rarely did the hardware justice. The brand had already built a strong reputation among PC sim racers, but it remained largely locked out of the console market. For many Gran Turismo 7 players, MOZA’s Direct Drive bases were desirable products, yet not realistic alternatives to Logitech, Thrustmaster, or Fanatec. That is now beginning to change. The partnership between MOZA Racing and Gran Turismo has opened the door, for the first time, to native MOZA hardware on PlayStation 5. This is not about a third-party adapter or an unofficial workaround. It is about a product being developed under the official PlayStation licensing program and in direct collaboration with Polyphony Digital. The timing matters. Sim racing is no longer a small, specialist corner of gaming. More players are willing to invest in Direct Drive wheelbases, load-cell pedals, and full cockpit setups. Technology that once belonged almost exclusively to professional simulators and high-end PC rigs is steadily making its way into living rooms. On PC, that evolution has been accompanied by a huge number of manufacturers. On PlayStation, the situation remains far more limited. That is why the arrival of MOZA on PS5 could become much more significant than the launch of a single new steering wheel. It could reshape a market that has been divided among the same few brands for far too long. The Gran Turismo Partnership Is Official The first certainty is also the most important one: MOZA Racing is now officially part of the Gran Turismo ecosystem. The company was announced as a new peripheral partner of the Gran Turismo World Series, the international esports championship built around Gran Turismo 7. The partnership became visible during the Tokyo round held

Gran Turismo 7 Partners with Moza Racing for Official PS5 Wheel | GAMES.GG

Polyphony Digital has confirmed Moza Racing as the official peripheral partner of Gran Turismo 7, with the two companies already working on a Gran Turismo-branded steering wheel controller for PS5. The announcement is a genuine surprise. None of Moza Racing's current hardware lineup is compatible with PS5, which makes this partnership less a celebration of existing support and more a signal of serious intent going forward. A partnership built on motor technology, not just marketing Here's the thing: Kazunori Yamauchi did not reach for the standard press release language when explaining why Polyphony chose Moza. The Gran Turismo creator pointed out that he first noticed Moza through their camera stabilisation gimbals, specifically because gimbals and steering wheel controllers share the same underlying technology: precise electric motor control. That is a very specific, very nerdy reason to trust a hardware partner, and it is exactly the kind of reasoning that suggests this collaboration goes deeper than a logo placement. Yamauchi framed the partnership as a continuation of a journey that started with Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec, calling the evolution of consumer-level force feedback steering an ongoing process. The implication is that Moza's motor engineering expertise is what Polyphony wanted access to, not just a name to put on a box. What the hardware will actually look like Details on the finished product are still sparse. The announcement confirms a Gran Turismo-branded steering wheel controller is in development, but Moza's own statement makes clear that no officially licensed PlayStation products have shipped yet. Development is ongoing, with the company promising more specifics in the coming months. Moza Racing sits firmly in the enthusiast tier of sim racing hardware. Their direct-drive wheel bases and load cell pedal sets are built for players who treat sim racing as a serious discipline, and the price

Gran Turismo World Series Welcomes MOZA Racing as Official Hardware Partner

Polyphony Digital announced today that MOZA Racing has officially joined the Gran Turismo World Series as one of its newest official peripheral partners. Founded in 2012 by automotive engineers and simulation enthusiasts, MOZA Racing has become one of the leading names in sim racing hardware. Its lineup includes direct-drive wheel bases, steering wheels, Active Pedals, shifters, motion systems and other racing peripherals. As part of the new partnership, the company is working with Polyphony Digital on a Gran Turismo-branded steering wheel controller that will feature native support for Gran Turismo 7. MOZA Racing CEO Chenyong Guan called the partnership a major milestone for the company, saying Gran Turismo has inspired generations of racing fans and that the team is excited to help bring new experiences to players through the collaboration. Gran Turismo series producer Kazunori Yamauchi said he first became familiar with MOZA through its camera stabilization gimbals, noting that the same precision motor technology behind those products is also used in force feedback steering systems. He said he has long admired the company’s engineering and believes the partnership creates new opportunities to build a steering wheel designed specifically for the Gran Turismo experience. More details on the upcoming hardware are expected in the future. Published: Jul 28, 2026 08:51 pm

Back on the grid: Alex Yoong wants F1 return to fuel Malaysia's racing future | Malay Mail

KUALA LUMPUR, July 29 — Formula One’s (F1) return to the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) presents Malaysia with a golden opportunity to rebuild its motorsport ecosystem, according to Malaysia’s former F1 driver Alex Yoong. He said the F1’s return would carry greater significance if it left a lasting legacy beyond the race itself, by encouraging greater investment in grassroots motorsport, driver development and regional racing, creating a stronger pathway for Malaysian talent to progress to the highest levels of the sport. Speaking to Bernama in an interview recently, Yoong stressed that hosting F1 must be backed by a compelling commercial case and a clear long-term vision of what the event could deliver for Malaysia beyond a single race weekend. The championship could generate benefits, including boosting tourism, creating business opportunities and raising Malaysia’s international profile. Yoong made history when he became Malaysia’s first F1 driver, racing for Minardi in 2001. He competed in 18 Grands Prix (GP) from 2001 to 2002, and currently holds the record as the only Malaysian driver to compete in F1, which is the highest class of motor racing. He remains one of the country’s most recognisable figures in motorsport, continuing to channel his passion for the sport through his work as a motorsport broadcaster. “As someone who has raced in F1 and spent much of my career developing motorsport in Malaysia and the region, it is great to see a track from Southeast Asia back on the world’s foremost racing calendar,” said Yoong. Creating a lasting legacy for Malaysian motorsport While F1 represents the pinnacle of motorsport, Yoong said sustained support for the talent development pathway would be just as important if the championship returns to Malaysia, helping more Malaysians compete on the international stage. “My hope is that it reignites support for the entire

Moza moves into PS5 racing with a Gran Turismo partnership and hardware expansion

- Moza Racing makes a move into the PlayStation market with the reveal it is an official partner for the Gran Turismo World Series. - The company also revealed a new full-motion haptic feedback racing rig, as well as a new R16 wheel base. - At the entry end Moza has also updated its popular R5 wheel bundle with more torque and better pedals. Moza Racing has been named an official partner of the Gran Turismo World Series, the international championship for the Gran Turismo video game franchise. The partnership is scheduled to begin on August 15, 2026, coinciding with the premiere of Round 2 of the 2026 series, where the Moza brand will be integrated into the official broadcasts. As part of this collaboration, Moza Racing also confirmed it is currently developing its first officially licensed PlayStation racing products, which are intended for use with the PlayStation 5 subject to final approval from Sony Interactive Entertainment. “My first experience with Mozawas actually through their camera stabilisation gimbals," said Kazunori Yamauchi, legendary producer of the Gran Turismo games. "Gimbals and steering controllers both use the same type of technology in that they exercise very precise control over electric motors, so I had my eyes on Moza's developmental ability, technology, and reliability for a while now. "The evolution of consumer-level force feedback steering that started from Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec is still ongoing, but with Moza now joining us as a partner I’m excited to see the expanded possibilities to develop a steering wheel that is optimal in the eyes of Gran Turismo." In tandem with the partnership news, the Moza Racing also introduced a range of new hardware, marking an expansion into full motion rigs, farming, and flight simulation. This Lamborghini Revuelto sim racing wheel is pure class

I love my sim racing, so I was excited to see one of the biggest accessory brands team up with one of the biggest luxury car brands to make what might be the nicest sim steering wheel I’ve seen. Unboxing the new Moza Lamborghini Revuelto Steering Wheel was quite the experience. It’s an officially licensed replica developed using the real Revuelto’s CAD data, along with lots of thoughtful touches. Made with premium materials and carbon fibre magnetic shift paddles, this wheel feels like a genuine piece of Lamborghini engineering. Even from a quick look and feel, I’m very keen to try the Moza Lamborghini Revuelto wheel with the rest of my sim gear. Time to get behind a Revuelto in Forza Horizon!

Gran Turismo 7 Partnering with Elite Racing Wheel Maker on Official PS5 Hardware

In a surprise announcement, Moza Racing is now the official peripheral partner of Gran Turismo 7 – a shock considering none of its hardware is currently compatible with the PS5. The announcement comes alongside confirmation that first-party studio Polyphony Digital will be partnering with the manufacturer on “a Gran Turismo-branded steering-wheel controller”. Exactly what hardware it’s going to use at upcoming Gran Turismo World Series events in the meantime is unclear, although I’m sure both parties considered that before signing the deal. In fact, it sounds like part of this partnership includes Moza Racing really strengthening its relationship with the PS5 in general. A spokesperson told Traxion: “This partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter for Moza Racing, as the company works toward introducing its first officially licensed PlayStation racing products. While development remains underway, Moza Racing looks forward to sharing more in the coming months as it continues expanding its ecosystem and delivering new experiences for Gran Turismo players worldwide. This is only the beginning, with more exciting announcements to come.” Moza Racing generally makes extremely high quality racing hardware, designed for enthusiasts. That means you can expect premium price points, but these peripherals are for serious players who want to take their sim racing skills to the next level. It all feels like a compelling fit for Gran Turismo 7, and whatever else Polyphony Digital has cooking for the future. Speaking as part of the press release, Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi shared a predictably nerdy statement on his background with Moza Racing: “My first experience with Moza was actually through their camera stabilisation gimbals. Gimbals and steering controllers both use the same type of technology in that they exercise very precise control over electric motors, so I had my eyes on Moza’s developmental ability, technology, and

Red Bull admits shifting focus to 2027 after summer break: 'Different situation from last year'

Red Bull Team Principal Laurent Mekies has admitted that the team will shift more of its focus toward the 2027 season car following the summer break, at the expense of further developing the RB22, the model used in F1 2026. The boss indicated that the transition is natural, but noted that the decision is also driven by the fact that the team is not currently in contention for the title. In 2025, Red Bull made significant progress in the closing stages of the season. With Max Verstappen in the title hunt, the team introduced several upgrade packages — at a much higher volume than McLaren — allowing the Dutchman to take the fight to the final round, although he was ultimately defeated by Lando Norris by just two points. However, that effort came at the cost of development time for the current season’s car, leaving Red Bull slightly off the pace of the frontrunners at the start of F1 2026. In an interview with Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Mekies emphasized that while the RB22 will still receive updates, they will come in smaller quantities than in late 2025, as primary focus moves to next year’s campaign. “We are in a very different situation from last year, when we were in full fightback mode and competing for the title until the very end. Because of that, we won’t push as hard now as we did on that occasion. After the summer break, most of our attention will shift to the 2027 car, which I consider completely normal. We will still have some updates this season, but fewer than in 2025,” Mekies said. Asked whether Verstappen could win races during the 2026 F1 season, Mekies replied that he believes it is possible, pointing to Red Bull’s recent progress over the last few

Gran Turismo 7's Next Update to Bring More “Stealth Model” Cars, Including Mazda 787B

After making their surprise GT7 return as a Viewers Gift for the Milan round of the Gran Turismo World Series back in May, two more Stealth Models are up for grabs when Round 2 broadcasts from Polyphony Digital’s Tokyo studio on Saturday, August 15. As before, all you need to do to earn them is watch the race broadcasts from inside the game. The New Cars Like the Milan campaign, the rewards are split across the two championship streams. Watching the Manufacturers Cup stream earns you a Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3) Stealth Model, the racing version of the concept car that famously previewed the design of the current Supra. The Nations Cup stream delivers a Mazda 787B ’91 Stealth Model, and that one is a genuine blast from the past. The black-liveried 787B was one of the original GT5 Stealth Models, rare enough at the time that Autoart turned it into a 1/18-scale physical model back in 2012. Both cars wear the signature deep black Stealth livery, and Polyphony confirms neither will be available for purchase anywhere in the game. How to Claim Them The process is the same as the Milan campaign. Find the Viewers Campaign banner in the top-right corner of the GT7 World Map, open the Manufacturers Cup and Nations Cup broadcast links, and watch both streams to qualify for both cars. The broadcast schedule for Saturday, August 15: - Manufacturers Cup: 13:00 UTC - Nations Cup: 15:00 UTC You don’t need to catch the races live. The entry window runs from the start of each broadcast through Monday, August 31 at 8:59 UTC, so there’s just over two weeks to load up the streams in-game. A Firm Distribution Date This Time The reward distribution caused a fair bit of confusion last time. Polyphony had

MOZA Racing Joins Gran Turismo World Series

MOZA Racing has joined the Gran Turismo World Series as an official partner, giving the sim racing hardware manufacturer a prominent marketing platform as it prepares to launch its first officially licensed PlayStation products. MOZA branding will appear in the championship’s official broadcast beginning with the second round of the 2026 season in Tokyo on Aug. 15. Financial terms and the duration of the agreement were not disclosed. The partnership begins during an ongoing GTWS season rather than between campaigns. The opening round took place in Milan on May 23, with further events scheduled for Tokyo, Singapore, and the World Finals in Tokyo in December. MOZA is part of Shenzhen-based Gudsen Technology, a business originally built around professional camera-stabilization equipment. Gudsen later applied its experience with electric motors, motion control, and stabilization systems to sim racing, introducing MOZA-branded direct-drive hardware in 2021. The company has since expanded into wheelbases, steering wheels, pedals, shifters, dashboards, and flight-simulation equipment. Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi referenced that history in the announcement, saying he first became familiar with MOZA through its camera gimbals. He said the companies would explore the development of a steering wheel “that is optimal in the eyes of ‘Gran Turismo.’” MOZA currently does not offer a wheelbase officially supported on PlayStation, and the company is not included in Gran Turismo 7’s current list of supported steering-wheel manufacturers. MOZA said its planned PlayStation products remain under development and will require final approval from Sony Interactive Entertainment. No release date, specifications or pricing were announced. The announcement also does not state that MOZA hardware will be installed on GTWS competition rigs. Fanatec said ahead of the May season opener that it continued as the series’ official steering-wheel partner and that the Milan competition rigs used its Gran Turismo DD Extreme equipment. MOZA

MOZA Racing Drops $3K HMA150 Motion System and Upgraded R16 Ultra

MOZA Racing isn’t slowing down. In what might be their most aggressive hardware dropped to date, the sim racing manufacturer has officially unveiled a complete lineup of high-end gear. The headline act? A full 4-actuator haptic motion system priced under $3,000, a revamped 16 Nm direct drive wheelbase, an upgraded entry-level R5 Pro bundle, and industry-first AI-powered haptic coaching. Here is everything you need to know about MOZA’s latest hardware drop and what it means for your sim rig. 1. MOZA HMA150: Full Cockpit Motion for Under $3,000 Motion platforms have traditionally been reserved for high-end commercial setups or deep-pocketed enthusiasts. MOZA is looking to disrupt that standard with the HMA150 Haptic Motion System. Built around four dedicated actuators delivering 150 mm of travel and speeds up to 300 mm/s, the system is engineered to translate every millisecond of telemetry into physical feedback: - Real-world vehicle dynamics: Simulates pitch, roll, and heave—allowing drivers to feel heavy braking dive, weight transfer through high-speed chicane transitions, elevation shifts, and harsh curb strikes. - Serious performance specs: Capable of generating over 1G of acceleration with a massive payload capacity of 350 kg (771 lbs) and high-frequency tactile vibrations up to 200 Hz. - Integrated design: Unlike traditional systems requiring bulky external power/control boxes, the HMA150 features integrated control units and built-in safety mechanisms (emergency stop and controlled descent protection). What truly sets the HMA150 apart is MOZA’s integrated AI Motion software. When driving in a simulator or game that lacks native telemetry output, the system uses real-time visual and audio analysis to calculate physical motion effects on the fly. 2. MOZA R16 Ultra: Smoother FFB and Flat-Wire Architecture For drivers seeking a serious wheelbase upgrade without jumping into $1,000+ territory, the R16 Ultra Direct Drive Base enters the market at $529 / €549.

Gran Turismo 7 Is Getting an Official MOZA Wheel with PlayStation Compatibility

Polyphony Digital has announced Moza Racing as a new official peripheral partner of the Gran Turismo World Series, but the big news is buried a little further down the press release… Moza is developing a steering wheel controller in collaboration with Gran Turismo, that will be natively supported in Gran Turismo 7. In other words, a PlayStation-compatible Moza wheel is coming. Moza’s First Step Onto PlayStation If you follow sim racing hardware, you already know Moza. Founded in 2012 by a group of automotive engineers and simulation enthusiasts, the company has built out a full ecosystem of direct drive wheel bases, steering wheels, its “Active Pedal” force feedback pedals, and even motion systems. What Moza has never had is a product that works on a PlayStation console. Its hardware has been almost entirely a PC affair, with a minor foray into Xbox territory with the R3 back in 2023. In terms of force-feedback wheels, Sony’s console has remained the exclusive domain of Logitech, Thrustmaster, and Fanatec, and breaking into that club is a big deal both for Moza and GT7 players. Of course, today’s announcement doesn’t include any details about the new wheel itself, and no release window beyond “the future”. But the fact that it’s being developed “in collaboration with Gran Turismo” suggests this is more than a simple compatibility patch. Series producer Kazunori Yamauchi’s comments hint at how the partnership came about, and it started somewhere unexpected (though perhaps not surprising for Yamauchi-san): camera equipment. “My first experience with MOZA was actually through their camera stabilization gimbals. Gimbals and steering controllers both use the same type of technology in that they exercise very precise control over electric motors, so I had my eyes on MOZA’s developmental ability, technology, and reliability for a while now,” Yamauchi said. Yamauchi added

'MOZA Racing' Becomes an Official Partner of the Gran Turismo World Series Polyphony Digital will be welcoming the global sim racing hardware brand 'MOZA Racing' as one of the new official peripheral partners of the Gran Turismo World Series, starting 28 July 2026. MOZA Racing is a brand that was established by automotive engineers and simulation enthusiasts in 2012. Offering a high-performance, all-encompassing lineup including direct drive wheel bases featuring flat-wire motor technology, steering wheels, Active Pedals, motion systems, and AI-powered technologies, they have established themselves as a top brand in the sim racing genre. Through this partnership, MOZA Racing is developing a steering wheel controller in collaboration with Gran Turismo that will be natively supported in Gran Turismo 7. MOZA Racing CEO & Founder, Chenyong Guan “At MOZA Racing, our mission has always been to make professional-grade sim racing more accessible while continually pushing the boundaries of performance and immersion. Partnering with the Gran Turismo World Series is an exciting milestone for us. Gran Turismo has inspired generations of racing enthusiasts, and we are honoured to contribute to a championship that represents the very best of virtual motorsport. Together, we look forward to creating new possibilities for racers around the world.” Gran Turismo Series Producer, Kazunori Yamauchi My first experience with MOZA was actually through their camera stabilisation gimbals. Gimbals and steering controllers both use the same type of technology in that they exercise very precise control over electric motors, so I had my eyes on MOZA’s developmental ability, technology, and reliability for a while now. Moza R5 Pro bundle brings upgraded torque, improved feedback, and more

Moza R5 Pro bundle brings upgraded torque, improved feedback, and more Moza has released an update to it relatively budget R5 racing bundle (our review). The R5 Pro bundle brings some minor improvements without a price increase. The wheelbase, steering wheel, and the pedals have been somewhat upgraded, with most of the improvements pertaining to the wheelbase. Moza R5 Pro racing simulator bundle features The original Moza R5 direct drive wheelbase was rated for 5.5 Nm of torque despite its compact form factor. The PC-only R5 Pro wheelbase maintains the compact build but switches to less boxy design, and ups the torque to 6 Nm. Moza has also updated its force feedback algorithm to NexGen 5.0, which it claims delivers a more refined and realistic experience. The 21-bit high resolution magnetic encoder is said to deliver 64 times the precision. The ES Steering wheel that came with the R5 bundle has been “upgraded” to the ES Lite. The size, buttons, LEDs, and shape remain the same, but the pedals are now metal. Rubber grips have been added to the sides and the center strip seems to be wider with the ES Lite. The SR-P Lite pedals have been upgraded to SR-P Lite2, but retain the two-pedal combo with room for expansion. They are Hall effect pedals with a good amount of adjustability and durable high-strength steel construction. There are ample upgrade options available as well. Moza R5 Pro racing simulator bundle price and availability The R5 Pro bundle is priced at $399 and is available for purchase via the official website. The SR-P Lite2 Clutch pedal will be an extra $40 add-on. Moza estimates shipping to start mid-August.
