The tracks used are voted for by the community and revealed at 12pm on race day, seven hours before the start of the race. Motorsport is evolving. The electrification of racing may have met a few bumps along the road, but there are plenty of other innovations alongside changing powertrains. One company is pioneering new approaches revolving around the most important fuel for motorsport – fan engagement. Veloce Media Group has a portfolio spanning virtual to real racing. I talked to the team about the company’s innovative approach to motorsport. Veloce’s Big Bet On Esports “Veloce Media Group grew initially out of Esports and gaming,” says Daniel Bailey, CEO, Veloce Media Group. “Soon after CVC Capital Partners sold Formula One to Liberty Media, we recognized there was a massive audience interest in this area. Now we’re the biggest sim racing talent manager in the world, whether it’s the Veloce Elites team itself or our customer teams in Formula One. We also signed the biggest racing gaming content creator channels in the world, which now means that we’re the biggest racing gaming media network, with 55 million subscribers, north of 500 million views a month. Many modern motorsport fans consume racing in a more fanatical way. Content creators play these games, have fun, and distribute the videos on their channels. We provided an infrastructure network to consolidate those channels.” Veloce saw an opportunity that wasn’t being exploited by traditional racing organizations. “The beauty of motorsport, if you want to build businesses in it, is the traditional rights holders tend to be quite slow to move away from focusing on just running racing cars on track and trying to sell sponsorship,” says Bailey. “There are always the peripheral areas in the industry that are moving fast. We recognized with Esports and sim racing, there was a new opportunity for accessibility, to democratize people’s involvement. Now, the modern consumer of motorsport is doing it in different ways.

The idol-racing crossover that turned into one of Japan's biggest mobile franchises is making a move that fans have wanted for years. Umamusume: Pretty Derby is getting a dedicated Steam release that puts players directly on the track, not just in the trainer's seat, with actual race participation and a betting system built into the core loop. PLAYSTATION STORE Get 1-month GTA+ subscription with pre-order. Pre-Order GTA 6 Now What the Steam version actually lets you do Here's the thing: the mobile game has always kept players at arm's length from the races themselves. You train, you build stats, you watch the outcome. The new Steam release flips that dynamic. Players can enter races directly and place bets on outcomes, making the racing side of the franchise feel like an actual sports game rather than a stat management sim with a race animation attached. The betting system is the headline feature. It mirrors the real-world mechanics of Japanese horse racing, which makes sense given that the entire franchise is built around real racehorses reimagined as anime girls. Placing bets on race outcomes adds a layer of tension to every event that the mobile game's passive race-watching never quite delivered. The race participation mechanic is equally significant. Rather than setting up your Uma and letting the game run its simulation, Steam players can take an active role in how races unfold. The specifics of how much direct control players have during a race are still being detailed, but the shift from spectator to participant is the defining change between this version and what mobile players have experienced. important The Steam release is a separate experience from the existing mobile game. Progress and characters are not shared between the two versions. Why this matters for the western fanbase Umamusume's western expansion has

2026 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series | Preview | Race 6 at Indianapolis July 14th, 2026 by Justin Melillo The road to $500,000 travels through hallowed grounds on Tuesday night. A staple in the open wheel community has become a staple once again for the stock car community, as Indianapolis Motor Speedway—the Brickyard—returned to NASCAR Crown Jewel status, racing on the 2.5-mile rectangular oval in real-world competition again as of the 2024 season. From 2010 to 2020, the famed venue was included on every eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series schedule, but from 2021 to 2023, as the real-world Cup competition opted to traverse the infield Road Course, it was taken off the top level esports series as well. It returned in dramatic fashion in 2024 and has remained since. Round 6 of the 2026 season will take the 40 car field back home again to Indiana as tickets to the 2026 Playoffs continue to dwindle down. Steven Wilson looks to defend his 2025 victory against 2024 winner, Daniel Faulkingham, 2017 winner Zack Novak, 2016 winner Dylan Duval, and the rest of the field all searching for their first win here. Coverage for the sixth round of the Championship Series season begins at 8 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels. Tune in 15 minutes earlier to catch the Countdown to Green at 7:45 p.m. ET. PREVIOUS RACE: GARRETT LOWE RETURNS TO WINNERS CIRCLE In the two previous points-paying trips to Iowa Speedway, only one driver—Steven Wilson—has managed to make it into victory lane. Last Tuesday, a fixed setup race leveled the playing field, but didn’t completely keep Wilson out of the conversation. It was very hard to pass throughout the night, that sentiment no clearer than on the restarts, where the outside line went three-for-three against the

If you have been following the sim racing scene, you have likely noticed a major shift in the rally genre. For years, fans have been chasing the ghost of Richard Burns Rally, looking for a modern title that could capture its uncompromising depth. The surprise arrival of Assetto Corsa Rally (ACR) is an unexpected victory—such a pleasant surprise that it makes us want to know more about who is behind it. Because suddenly, the title developed by Supernova Games Studios in partnership with Kunos Simulazioni has claimed a throne that everyone else had left vacant. Who are Supernova Games? Supernova Games Studios, operating under the parent company Digital Bros, has been quietly working on this project since its inception in 2021. The studio is based in Milan, with more than 20 gaming and tech-loving developers working remotely. While they might be a relatively new name to some, their technical partnership with Kunos—the masters behind the Assetto Corsa franchise—lends a level of credibility that is immediately apparent the moment you get behind the wheel. Early access: A flawless foundation Entering Early Access on November 13, 2025, ACR has received overwhelming praise from the sim racing community. The main draw? Laser-scanned content. While many rally games offer “inspired” tracks, ACR delivers an unparalleled level of terrain detail that forces you to adapt your driving style to every bump and crest. The game also feels like an evolution of the technical know-how Kunos achieved with Unreal Engine 4 in its previous title, Assetto Corsa Competizione. This transition to the fifth iteration of the engine looks stunning on-screen, delivering a level of detail, lighting, and visual beauty that is hard to ignore. Despite being in an early state, feedback on Steam has been stellar. Players are highlighting its “flawless feel” and sophisticated physics model,
